Cancellation, Late Cancellation, and No Show Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. When an appointment is missed or canceled without sufficient notice, that time cannot typically be offered to another client, which impacts both the practice and individuals waiting for appointments.
Cancellations
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without charge when at least 48 hours’ notice is provided.
Late Cancellations
48+ Hours’ Notice: Appointments canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may be changed without any fee.
24 to 48 Hours’ Notice : Appointments canceled less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a $75 late cancellation fee.
Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice : Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a $140 late cancellation fee.
No Shows
Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment without notifying the practice will be charged a $140 no show fee.
Payment Responsibility
Late cancellation and no show fees are the client’s responsibility and are not covered by insurance, regardless of your insurance plan or method of payment. These fees cannot be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement and must be paid directly by the client.
Why These Fees Exist
The cancellation and no show fees reflect the value of the time reserved exclusively for you. Whether you use insurance or pay privately, the same appointment time is held for your care. Because insurance does not cover missed appointments or late cancellations, these fees help support the sustainability of the practice while ensuring fairness and continued availability for all clients.
